 Statement of Faith

 *  We believe the Bible to be inerrant as originally given, the only inspired and authoritative Word of God. ( II Tim. 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21)

 *   We believe there is only one God, who in infinitely perfect, eternally existent in three persons, revealing himself as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. ( I Tim. 2:5-6; Jn. 16:7; 14:1-11; Rev. 1:8-20; I Jn. 5:6-12)

 *    We believe that Jesus Christ is "Emmanuel" and being "God with us" he is true God and true man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, he lived a sinless life, working miracles among us and giving his life as a substitutionary death upon the cross to make atonement for the sins of the human race, that he descended into hell, that he "led the captives free from Abraham's bosom and all who accept Jesus Christ as their Savior are justified and receive the benefits of his atoning death. ( Mt. 1:23; 1:18-25; I Peter 2:22; I Cor. 5:17-21; Acts 4:11-12; 2:38; Lk. 22:19-20; Mk. 14:22-25; Mt. 26:26-27; I Cor. 11:23-30; Heb. 9:11-15)

 *   We believe that Jesus Christ rose again from the dead and that he ascended to the right hand of God the Father, we believe he will bodily return in power and glory according to the scriptures. ( Jn. 20:1-18; Lk. 24; Mk. 16; Mt. 28; Acts 1:1-11; Heb. 1:3)

 *   We believe that the human race is created in the image of God, that we through disobedience fell into sin and the only way to be saved from eternal separation from God (i.e. Hell) is to accept the atoning work of Jesus Christ. Those who choose to accept the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus Christ and repent of their sins are born again of the Holy Spirit, adopted into the family of God and receive eternal life in Heaven. ( Gen. 1:27; 3:1-24; Lk. 16:19-31; Rev. 2:17; Jn. 1:1-14; 3:1-21; Rom. 3:23-25; 6:1-23; Acts 2:19-36)

 *   We believe there is one spiritual baptism into the Body of Christ, and that believers are called to sanctification through identification with Jesus Christ in his death and resurrection, believers should be filled with the Holy Spirit receiving the power of the Holy Spirit by faith for holy living and effective service. ( Acts 1:8; 2:38-39; Rom. 8:1-6; 12:1-2; Eph. 4:4-32; Gal. 2:20; 5:14-26; Heb. 10:23-25)

 *   We believe that not only the forgiveness of sin and salvation are made available through the redemption of our Lord Jesus Christ, but provision is also made available for deliverance from spiritual bondage by submitting to God, and resisting the devil. Along with the gifts of the Holy Spirit healing of the mortal body is provided through prayer for the sick and anointing with oil. These are privileges for the Church in this present age as they are taught in the Scriptures. ( I Jn. 4:1-6; James 4:7; Eph. 6:10-17; II Cor. 10:4-5; I Cor. 12:-14; Rom. 12; James 5:13-16)

 *   We believe in the bodily pre-millennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ, that this is the believer's "blessed hope" and incentive for holiness and faithful service. ( Titus 2:13-15; 3:5-8; Acts 1:11; Mk. 14:62; I Thess.4:16-18; I Cor.15:51-57; Rev. 10:7-11:19)

  *   We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the just and the unjust; the just to the resurrection of life, the unjust to the resurrection of judgment. ( Jn. 5:24-29; I Thess. 4:16-18; I Cor. 15:51-57; Rev.11; Rev. 20:4-5)
